What do do with your CHURCH CHORAL MUSIC that is in storage

Most church music programs spend a lot of their budget on new music and with our more modern and contemporary tastes, the battle to know what to keep and what to toss has become a very difficult one.

A few years ago I served as Choirmaster at a small church here in CA.   Their were numerous file cabinets and boxes which contained choral music from the 1960's and perhaps even older.   I tried to encourage the church to allow us to sell these pieces to a resource I had used in Tennessee called the The Music Library (www.the musiclibrary.com)   They will either buy your choral collection(s) or offer you credit for future purchase.   Their terms may of changed but call them to find out how they handle new accounts.

The owners are very helpful and whenever I needed to find something even obscure from my college days, the 1970's era, they were always able to accommodate my needs.   Their prices are very reasonable...pennies on the dollar.

I even found complete copies of good quality used pieces such as the entire Messiah, for half the price of new scores.

So if you need to move your library on to new owners, at 615.377.3463

God bless you!
